1. Key issues in the environment
1.1. President Jacob Zuma will lead the Africa Day celebrations under the theme: “We are Africa – Opening the doors of learning and culture from Cape to Cairo” on 24 May 2015 at the Mamelodi campus of the University of Pretoria.

The government has noted with concern media reports insinuating that labour strikes could fuel attacks on foreign nationals.
Acting Cabinet spokesperson Phumla Williams dismissed the claims that the possible strikes by organised labour may lead to the attacks.
