1. Cabinet’s decisions on current issues and upcoming events
1.1. Cabinet welcomed the release of the Twenty Year Review South Africa Report 1994–2014, by President Jacob Zuma, which is testimony to the progress government has made to ensure a better life for all.

Government welcomes the release of the final report by the Public Protector into the security upgrades at President Jacob Zuma's private residence at Nkandla. Government will reflect on the findings and recommendations contained therein with a view to determining a way forward very soon.
It is important to reiterate critical issues in relation to this matter. Government respects the rule of law and abides by the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa.

Foreign Policy briefing by the Minister of International Relations Maite Nkoana-Mashabane
During the State of the Nation Address, President Jacob Zuma reflected on how Democratic South Africa’s foreign policy was shaped during the fierce international campaign to isolate the apartheid state. He also emphasised how Africa is at the centre of South Africa’s foreign policy.
