Madigage was involved in a car accident on Thursday evening at Burgersfort in Limpopo.

Government condemns in the strongest terms an incident in which a police officer was seriously injured with a panga at Samancor Mine in North West today, Tuesday, 16 October 2012.
Police were attempting to disperse striking workers when the officer concerned was injured as he tried to stop his attackers from striking him in the face.
This is a cruel and shocking act, which has no place in our society or in labour disputes, and follows previous attacks on police under similar circumstances.

Government has expressed shock at the regrettable shooting that occurred outside Ntuzuma Magistrate’s Court yesterday and condemns the use of violence in solving any form of conflict.
GCIS Acting CEO, Phumla Williams said, “This incident is highly regrettable especially in a democratic country. Government conveys its deepest condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.
Political parties and the public in general are encouraged to engage in dialogue to resolve differences and to uphold the laws of the country.”
