Government commends the private and public sector for taking steps to ensure clean governance through the verification of qualification process.
The increase in the number of companies and government departments ensuring the verification of academic and professional qualifications of prospective employees, as reported by quality assurance body Umalusi, is an indication that South Africa is moving towards clean governance.

On Monday, 14 September at 10h00, Social Protection, Community and Human Development (SPCHD) Cluster chaired by Minister of Social Development Bathabile Dlamini will hold a media briefing to give an update on progress and achievements on the implementation of its programme of action. The briefing will be held at Tshedimosetso House (GCIS), Pretoria with a link up to Imbizo Media Centre, Cape Town.

Minister of Communication Ms Faith Muthambi will share a podium with Advocate Gerri Nel in a launch of a forensic investigations book titled: Legislative Principle and Investigative Practice. The book launch will be held in Centurion, Pretoria on the 11th September, 2015.
The discussion panel will include two editors of the book, Prof Rudolph Zinn and Dr Sethlomaru Dintwe.

The pact between government, mining houses and labour unions demonstrates the commitment across all sectors to save jobs and reduce the impact of job losses.

The Minister of Communications, Ms Faith Muthambi will on Sunday, 13 September 2015 launch the Annual Thusong Service Centre Week in Kwazulu-Natal, Dududu Thusong Service Centre. The Minister will be accompanied by Vulamehlo Local Municipality, Cllr T. Dube and Ugu District Municipality, Cllr NH Gumede.
