Government is deeply saddened and sends its deepest condolences to the families that lost their loved ones when a bus collided with a truck in Moloto Road near Kwaggafontein, Mpumalanga last night. Twenty-nine people were killed and scores of injured passengers were taken to nearby hospital.

The media briefings are aimed at informing citizens on progress made in the implementation of the 12 Outcomes and respective service delivery agreements.

Government congratulates the South African athletes for their outstanding performance at the New York City Marathon yesterday. South African athletes excelled in the marathon, in which over 50 000 people participated.
Paralympian Ernst van Dyk won second place in the wheelchair division, Lusapho April came third in the men’s elite category and two other South Africans finished in the top 60 in the hand cycle division.
