Government welcomes the results of the Quarterly Labour Force Survey (QLFS) which indicate that the number of employed persons increased by 399 000 to 16, 7 million in the third quarter of 2023 compared to 16, 3 million in the second quarter of 2023. The results further show that the number of unemployed persons decreased by 72 000 to 7,8 million during the third quarter, a 0,9 % decrease in Quarter 3 compared to Quarter 2 of 2023.
