Members of the media are invited to the official launch of the 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children campaign on Monday 23 November 2009 at the Union Buildings in Pretoria.
The Minster of Women, Children and Persons with Disabilities, Ms Noluthando Mayende-Sibiya and the Deputy Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, Mr Yunus Carrim (representing Minister Sicelo Shiceka), will officiate at the event.

The 2010 theme for the awards is, “Promoting Regional Integration through Excellent Journalism”. The categories for the awards are Print, Radio, Television and Photojournalism
