The Government Communication and Information System (GCIS) in partnership with the Sol Plaatjie University (SPU) will host a Vuk’Talks dialogue in Kimberley, Northern Cape on the 27th September 2023.

GCIS is the publisher of Vuk’uzenzele, a multilingual newspaper for South African citizens and the Vuk’Talks  dialogue  was introduced to drive consumer and community engagement conversations that bring young people together under one roof to mainly discuss issues of importance such as; career opportunities, entrepreneurship, skills development and training.

Government concludes this year’s Annual Thusong Service Centre Week, which took place from the 18 - 22 September 2023 and was commemorated under the theme: “Building a Professional Public Service for Quality Service Delivery”.
 
The Thusong Service week formed part of the Integrated Public Service Month and it sought to promote the Thusong Programme by showcasing the integrated mobile outreach programme and its effectiveness in responding to the needs of the citizens.

The Border Management Authority 2023 came into effect on 1st April 2023 as an autonomous schedule 3(A) public entity serving as the third law enforcement authority in South Africa. The legal establishment of the BMA means that South Africa has an integrated border management platform, with a single command and control with which to support the attainment of secure borders, safe travel and trade facilitation.
