The briefing will also profile and highlight work from individual departments, and outline future plans.

Government will hold Cluster media briefings on the implementation of the Government’s Programme of Action for 2007 in Cape Town from 2 - 9 November 2007.

This will be the fourth and last cycle of media briefings for the year. The briefings will take place at Imbizo Media Centre, 120 Plein Street, Cape Town (exception - Friday's briefing will be delivered from the Union Buildings, Pta).

There will be a video link up at Room 153, Union Buildings, Pretoria.

The 16 Days of Activism against Women and Child Abuse is an annual, united endorsed awareness campaign that begins on 25 November (which is commemorated as the international day for no violence against women and children each year), and runs through to 10 December (which is commemorated as international Human Rights Day).
