Spotlight on Freedom Day
In commemoration of 20 Years of Freedom, President Jacob Zuma will, on 27 April, deliver a keynote address at the Union Buildings reflecting on government's achievements since the dawn of democracy.
Arts and Culture Minister Paul Mashatile and Minister of Performance Monitoring and Evaluation, Collins Chabane launched Freedom Month on 3 April. The theme for the 2014 Freedom Month celebrations is “South Africa - a Better Place to live in". Read more on Freedom Month
