Skills Development for a digital future unemployed youth in Nyanga empowered through an Online Video Editing Course: 21 Apr

The Deputy Minister of Communications, Ms Stella Ndabeni-Abrahams will, on Thursday, 21 April 2016, conduct a project monitoring visit of the online video editing course currently underway in Nyanga. The training course emanates from the Deputy Minister’s 2015 Budget Vote Speech, wherein she committed to ensure the training of, “unemployed youth, learners and teachers on Online Video Editing Software.”

The Deputy Minister has met this commitment and the project is being rolled out in partnership with MICT SETA and Atos; benefiting 70 unemployed youth in the Eastern Cape, 40 in the Western Cape and 40 in Gauteng.

The media are hereby cordially invited to the project monitoring visit in Nyanga and the details are as follows:
