Minister Muthambi to host a SADC Media Awards Thank You Dinner to honour South African Winners: 2 Oct

The Minister of Communications, Ms Faith Muthambi will host a SADC Thank You Dinner to honour South African winners of the 2015 Competition.  The awards aim to recognize excellence in journalism in the area of print, photojournalism, television and radio as well as to encourage media practitioners in member states to cover issues pertaining to the region for the promotion of regional integration and cooperation.

South Africa successfully participated and won the television category in the 2015 SADC Media Awards competition.  As a token of appreciation, GCIS is organising a Thank You Dinner to award prizes and celebrate the 2015 Chapter of the Awards.  
The Minister of Communications will be accompanied by the Gauteng MEC for Economic Development and the Tshwane Mayor.
