Minister of Communications Ms Faith Muthambi is set to deliver keynote address at the “2nd EThekwini Social Cohesion Conference” on the 21st of April 2016,
Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.
EThekwini Municipality was first city to host social cohesion dialogue back in 2013, this culminated in a National Dialogue hosted by the Minister of Arts & Culture in Kliptown. It is in the South African historical context that Social Cohesion and Nation Building has become a political imperative.
Minister Muthambi will engages conference as a keynote speaker on the topic “SA Media: The cornerstone of Nation Building or a perpetrator of our racial past”
“The media has role to play in nation building, promoting social cohesion and creating awareness about human rights”. Said Muthambi
