Minister of Communications to address Government Communications Graduates at Wits University: 10 Mar

Minister of Communications Ms Faith Muthambi will address the graduation assembly of Participants in Certificate Programme in Government Communications at the Wits School of Governance on Thursday 10th of March in Parktown, Johannesburg.

“The Government is committed towards transforming the country into a knowledge based economy, where creation, adaptation and use of knowledge are envisaged to be critical factors for economic growth and development. Universities play a critical role in the generation of knowledge. Therefore it is imperative to empower our communicators with knowledge,” said Muthambi.

During 2015 a cohort of participants from all three spheres of government attended the course on Public Sector Government Communications and Marketing. Most of the participants are dedicated communication managers and officers from various departments across all three spheres of government.
