Media accreditation for the unveiling of the OR Tambo statue

President Jacob Zuma will tomorrow, 19 October 2017, unveil a life-size statue of Mr Oliver Reginald Tambo at the O.R. Tambo International Airport in Ekurhuleni, Gauteng.

The ceremony forms part of the O.R. Tambo centenary celebrations that are being held across the country under the theme "Life and Legacy of OR Tambo".

Members of the media are advised of the following arrangements:-

1. MEDIA ACCREDITATION

Date: 19 October 2017
Time: 06:00am - 08:00am
Venue: Media Center room, located next to the international arrival entrance.

N.B: Identity documents such as ID, Driver's License/ Passport and Press cards or Editor's letter will be required. No cards will be issued after cut off time.

2. PARKING

Broadcasters: OB Vans and Satellite trucks parking is on the lower road in a demarcated area. All vehicles should be parked no later than 4:30am.
All media: All members of the media should park at Parking Level 1 (KB1).
