Media accreditation for Presidential Imbizo in Upington

Government Communication and Information System (GCIS) calls on members of the media who wish to cover the upcoming Presidential Imbizo in Upington to apply for accreditation. The Imbizo will take place on Friday, 21 October 2022 at Mxolisi Dicky Jacobs Stadium in Upington, Northern Cape Province. 

The Presidential Imbizo through the District Development Programme (DDM) will assess service delivery progress and challenges in the area and assist to resolve them.  The DDM ensures that service delivery planning, implementation, and budgeting is integrated so that communities are better serviced. 

Leading to the Imbizo, Ministers, MECs, and Mayors will embark on community outreach activities in and around Upington.   

Members of the media are invited to apply for accreditation to cover the Presidential Imbizo by completing the attached registration form in full and submit it to Takalani Mukwevho on takalanim@gcis.gov.za or Kelebogile Moela on kmoela@ncpg.gov.za by no later than Friday, 14 October 2022 at 16h00.
