Re-opening of media accreditation for the official funeral of the late struggle icon Winnie Madikizela-Mandela re-opened

Members of the media who missed the initial deadline to apply for accreditation to cover the official funeral service of the late Mrs Winnie Madikizela-Mandela are advised that the application process has been re-opened as from today, Wednesday, 11 April 2018.

Should you wish to apply, please complete the online registration form accessible via the link http://www.gcis.gov.za/content/media-registration. All fields must be completed.

Kindly note and observe the following deadline for applications.

Date: Thursday, 12 April 2018
Time: 10h00 (no applications will be accepted after the deadline)

NB: Those who have already been accredited and issued with accreditation cards do NOT need to re-apply,  their cards will still be valid for the funeral service on Saturday, 14 April 2018.

Details for the collection of accreditation cards will be communicated after the application deadline tomorrow (Thursday) .

Each member of the media will be required to personally collect the accreditation card, no mass collection will be allowed.
