Government Communication and Information System will convene a District Development Model (DDM) Presidential Imbizo media engagement session.
The engagement will be led by the Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs (CoGTA), Thembi Nkadimeng, supported by the Eastern Cape MEC for CoGTA, Zolile Williams.
The session precedes the 9th DDM Presidential Imbizo taking place on the 11th of August 2023 in Chris Hani District, Eastern Cape Province.
The purpose of the engagement is to provide a consolidated report of the progress made since the resuscitation of the Presidential Imbizo programme in March 2022, as well as the state of readiness for the forthcoming DDM Presidential Imbizo.
