Government saddened by the passing away of Mandy Rossouw

Government is saddened at the death of one of South Africa’s prolific journalists, Mandy Rossouw, who according to media reports passed away yesterday.
 
Rossouw was a seasoned and experienced journalist, whose reporting contributed to shaping South Africa’s discourse. She was an international correspondent for the Media24 group and recently worked for Eyewitness News.
 
GCIS Acting CEO, Phumla Williams, said “government expresses its deepest condolences to her family, friends and the media industry.”
 
Her death is a huge loss to the media industry and South Africa.
