Various stakeholders in the communications and public relations industry will gather in Johannesburg for the fourth 2010 National Communication Partnership (NCP) conference, to be held as follows:

Time: 08h30 for 09h00
Members of the NCP include, amongst others, Government Communications and Information System (GCIS), the 2010 Local Organising Committee, the South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC), the International Marketing Council (IMC), South African Tourism and the 2010 Communications Core Team.
The first NCP conference was held in 2006 and then annually thereafter; and this year’s conference is the last be held before the kick-off of the 2010 FIFA World Cup.
Public Service and Administration Minister Richard Baloyi will deliver the keynote address. Other speakers include Transport Minister Sibusiso Ndebele, Deputy National Police Commisioner Andre Pruis, LOC Chairman Dr Irvin Khoza, Head of FIFA Office in South Africa Ron Delmond and others.
Issues to be discussed at the conference include feedback from the recent 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup, analysis of media reports (both local and international) on South Africa’s preparations for the world cup and a couple of panel discussions on ways of improving communications around South Africa’s hosting of the world cup.
