to register as a service-provider
The GCIS maintains
a database of organisations, institutions and individuals who can
provide professional services to departments. These suppliers
are approached on a rotation basis for quotations and/or invitations
to tender. The database is updated on an annual basis.
Professional
services are required in the following areas of specialisation:

video camera operators, sound engineers and directors
- sound and
lighting services for special events and exhibitions

artists (all official languages)

art directing and multimedia production

and proof-reading

(all official languages) for print media, video and radio productions
- printing
services and sign-writing
- distribution
services (publications and other information material)
- promotion
of special events and specialists in exhibition and event organisation

in any of these disciplines and believe your organisation/institution
will be able to provide a professional service to GCIS, we would
like to hear from you.
In particular,
tertiary institutions, SMMEs and previously disadvantaged individuals
with expertise in these disciplines are encouraged to apply. Please
note, however, that this invitation does not apply to training service-providers.

organisation/institution, address and contact information
- status,
ownership and structure
- vision and
mission
- number of
staff
- location
- areas of
expertise.
