Government Communicators' Forum dinner: 28 Mar

The GCIS will host a two-day planning and strategic meeting, commonly referred to as the Government Communicators’ Forum (GCF) on the 28th and 29th March 2011.

The GCF takes place quarterly and is attended by communicators from the three spheres of government. The March GCF marks the beginning of the financial year and sets the tone and agenda for government communications in a particular year.

This year the meeting will focus on the pronouncements made by President Zuma in the 2011 State of the Nation Address with particular emphasis on job creation.

Members of the media are invited to the GCF Gala Dinner as follows:

Time: 18h00 for 18h30

Mr Alastair Campbell, best known as the former British Prime Minister Tony Blair’s spokesperson, will be the guest speaker at the Gala Dinner.
