Media briefing on country's position on climate change and green economy: 29 Nov

The head of the South African Delegation for COP17, the Minister of Water and Environmental Affairs Ms Edna Molewa will address the media on the elements of the country’s position, climate change policy and the green economy.

The Minister of Economic Development, Mr Ebrahim Patel will present key issues outlined in the National Green Economy Accord signed recently in Pretoria. The Accord, signed between all segments of the green economy supports the migration to a low carbon  economy, whilst addressing the need for job creation and enterprise development as it is embodied in the green economy.

The briefing will be preceded by the media tour to the CCR Expo.
