Biography of Tiyani Rikhotso
Tiyani Rikhotso is a Journalism and Media Studies graduate of the Tshwane University of Technology.
Between 2002 and 2007, Tiyani worked as a political and presidential correspondent for SABC News.
In April 2007, Tiyani was appointed Media Liaison and Publicity Manager at the African National Congress Chief Albert Luthuli House headquarters, where he also served as national spokesperson.
Tiyani joined GCIS in May 2008 as Chief Director: 2010 Communication Project Management Unit, tasked with co-ordinating government communication on the 2010 FIFA World Cup™ and serving as government spokesperson for this prestigious soccer showpiece.
